Eastbourne Borough FC have announced the appointment of experienced non-league boss Steve King as their permanent First Team Manager with immediate effect. The Sports confirmed the news today as the club looks to secure its status in the National League South during the closing weeks of the season.
King is a well-known figure in non-league football, with a long managerial career and extensive knowledge of the game at this level. Borough believe his experience and familiarity with the division make him the ideal candidate to guide the club through the remainder of the campaign. The appointment also fulfils a longstanding ambition for King, who has previously expressed a desire to manage the East Sussex side. He will immediately take charge of preparations for Borough’s upcoming fixture against Ebbsfleet United, with work beginning straight away alongside the club’s players and backroom staff.

The club also paid tribute to interim manager Robbie Blake, who stepped into the role during a difficult period and helped steady the ship. Blake collected six crucial points while leading the side and will now return to his previous position as First Team Coach. Borough thanked him for his professionalism and commitment during his spell in charge.
With only a handful of fixtures remaining, the club has called on supporters to get behind the team as they push to maintain their place in the National League South. Borough fans will be hoping King’s arrival can provide the lift needed to guide the Sports safely through the final stretch of the season.
